About SIMPAI
A socio-ecological movement that binds research, policy, and community action to build a fair circular economy.
Who We Are
SIMPAI is a socio-ecological movement that binds research, policy, and community action to build a fair circular economy. We work where households, markets, and governments meet, so ideas become habits and habits become measurable impact.
Why We Exist
When policies are written without listening, change stays on paper. When data never reaches daily routines, waste and costs keep rising. SIMPAI exists to close these gaps with evidence, inclusion, and practical prototypes that communities can own.
Our Principles
These core values guide everything we do and how we create meaningful change.
Inclusive and Equitable
We believe fairness begins with inclusion. That's why women, informal workers, and marginalized groups are at the center of how we design, research, and implement change. Every activity is built to ensure equal access to opportunities, benefits, and decision-making power.
Evidence-Based, Community-Rooted
We start from data but always return to people. Our research goes beyond numbers, it reflects the lived realities of households, small businesses, and local policymakers. Each insight is tested and refined with the communities who will ultimately use it.
Collaborative and Transparent
No transformation happens in isolation. We build bridges across government, citizens, academia, and the private sector, guided by transparency, trust, and shared learning. Our data, methods, and lessons are open so others can replicate and improve upon them.
Adaptive and Regenerative
We learn, unlearn, and evolve. Every project is designed to strengthen local capacity and restore ecological balance, ensuring that impact continues long after a project ends.
How We Create Change
We turn evidence into policy, policy into daily habits, and habits into measurable impact.
