About This Activity
Simpai Institute is preparing a collaboration with the Cirebon City Environmental Agency (DLH) to strengthen a fair and circular waste management system at the city level.
The partnership will begin with a kick-off meeting in November 2025, setting a shared agenda around three key areas:
1. Mapping the current state of waste management across urban and peri-urban areas.
2. Developing circular strategies involving local communities and small enterprises.
3. Designing policy and mentoring models that promote inclusion, efficiency, and sustainability within the city's waste system.
This collaboration will serve as the foundation for developing an evidence-based circular system model, paving the way for regional knowledge exchange across West Java.
